METHOD OF VERIFYING SENSING DATA IN WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK

A method for verifying sensing data in a wireless sensor network is provided to improve the reliability of sensing data by increasing the accuracy of data of a sensor network through adaptive sensor defect confirmation, measurement error cancellation, and data refinement. In case the sensing data of a specific sensing module have an identical value during an appointed period, a control part transmits a defect confirmation message to the nodes neighboring with the sensing module. If responses are received from the neighbor nodes, the control part judges that there is a defect in the sensing module(S300). The control part collects the sensing data measured at a plurality of sensing modules, obtains the average and standard deviation of the sensing data, and removes some sensing data which are out of the range of the obtained standard deviation from the obtained average value(S310). Based on the distribution of the removed sensing data, the control part grants a weight to the remaining data and refines the sensing data(S320).
