A novel Arthrobotrys oligospora KAN-2 strain is provided to secure strong adaptability to domestic soil, have excellent nematicide effect and nutritive growth effect of a plant and supply large amount of strain time appropriately, thereby being usefully used for controlling plant parasitic nematodes such as Meloidogyne species. An Arthrobotrys oligospora KAN-2 having the plant-parasitic nematodes preventive effect is deposited as a deposition no. KACC93052P. A microbial agent for controlling nematoda comprises the Arthrobotrys oligospora KAN-2 as an effective ingredient. A method for mass-producing the microbial agent comprises the steps of: (a) culturing the Arthrobotrys oligospora KAN-2 in a solid or a liquid culture medium; and (b) inoculating the cultured microorganism hypha into cooked barley, cooked oat or a mixture thereof and then culturing it.
