SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEARCHING LOST PET

A system and a method for searching lost pets are provided to share information on lost pets with organizations related to pets or a person who finds a lost pet through wired/wireless Internet and transmit information corresponding to a report of the loss of a pet to a person who transmits the report. A report of the loss of a pet is received from a mobile communication terminal through a wireless Internet(S19). An SMS(Short Message Service) message including information on the lost pet is transmitted to the mobile communication terminal. The information on the lost pet is transmitted to affiliated organizations which provide information on pets through a wired Internet(S25). Reports of finding of pets are received from mobile communication terminals through the wireless Internet. An SMS message is transmitted wherein the SMS message indicates that the lost pet is found to the mobile communication terminal based on information obtained from the reports of finding of pets.
