A food garbage disposer for a sink is provided to dispose food garbage promptly and simply and reduce the discharge amount of the entire food garbage considerably by injecting food garbage into a drainpipe, automatically pulverizing food garbage in a pulverizer, supplying the pulverized food garbage to a dewaterer through a connecting pipe, and automatically dewatering the pulverized food garbage. A food garbage disposer for a sink comprises: a pulverizer(2) including a cylindrical supporting pipe(20) connected to a lower part of a drainpipe(12), serrated cutting blades(21) fixed to an inner peripheral surface of the supporting pipe, a first motor(22) connected to a lower part of the supporting pipe, a rotary plate(23) fixed to a rotary shaft of the first motor, and cutters(24) connected to an outer side of the rotary plate by pins(24a), wherein the cutters come close to the cutting blades to pulverize food garbage by centrifugal force when the rotary plate rotates; and a dewaterer(3) including a case(30) laid down on the bottom of the sink, a second motor(31) vertically mounted on an inner part of the case, a waterproofing cover(32) covered on an outer part of the second motor and fixed to a rotary shaft of the second motor, a rotary body(33) which has an inner diameter of a shape corresponding to the cover, and which is covered on the cover, a cylindrical mesh(34) assembled on the periphery of a lower flange of the rotary body and rotated together with the rotary body, and a discharge pipe(35) connected to the case and a drain of the sink, wherein one end of a connecting pipe is connected to a discharge port(25) formed in one side of a lower part of the supporting pipe, and the other end of the connecting pipe is penetrated into a top face of the case to supply pulverized food garbage into the mesh. Further, an inner cover(50) is connected inside the drainpipe. |
