A circuit for driving common electrodes of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to reduce error caused from coupling with external by suppressing the increase of loads due to the swing of voltages in the common electrodes. A circuit for driving common electrodes of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a timing controller(22), a DC/DC(Direct Current) converter(26), and a common electrode driver(27). The timing controller controls the operation of gate and data drivers(23,24). The DC/DC converter generates driving voltages required in a liquid crystal panel(25). The common electrode driver suppresses the increase of loads due to the swing of voltages in the common electrodes using a capacitor, which is connected between common electrode lines and a floating terminal or low/high common voltage terminals, and reduces error caused from coupling with external.
