A plasma display panel is provided to prevent a substrate from being bent by increasing a thermal expansion coefficient of a dielectric layer applied on a non-display region to be greater than the thermal expansion coefficient of a substrate. First and second substrates(10,20) are arranged to face each other and form display and non-display regions. A barrier rib is arranged between the substrates to define discharge cells. An address electrode is elongated in a first direction on one of the substrates corresponding to the discharge cells. A first dielectric layer(13) is formed to cover the address electrode. First and second electrodes are elongated in a second direction which is normal to the first direction, and formed on the other substrate corresponding to the discharge cells. A second dielectric layer(21) is formed on the substrate to cover the first and second electrodes. The first dielectric layer is divided into plural regions with different thermal expansion coefficients on the first substrate which covers the address electrode.
