An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device capable of controlling a viewing angle is provided to enable interference and offset data to be selectively applied an interference sub cell in response to area information about the area of an image which a user wants to secure, thereby enabling the partial security of the image by not showing partially the image in the side according to the area information. An LCD device capable of controlling a viewing angle comprises an LCD panel(30), a data driver(34), an interference data generator(40), a data combination unit(42), an input unit, and an interference area control unit(44). The LCD panel includes plural color pixels with sub pixels for RGB(Red, Green, Blue) and interference. The data driver supplies pixel driving signals which the sub pixels on the LCD panel input one by one for a line. The interference data generator generates interference and offset data to be supplied to the interference sub pixels. The data combination unit adds the interference and offset data to video data to be supplied to the data driver. The input unit inputs the area information of an image which a user wants to secure. The interference area control unit controls the interference data in response to the area information from the input unit to output selectively the interference and offset data according to areas.
