An improved air cleaner is provided to create a pleasant environment and an environmentally friendly atmosphere by passing contaminated air through a filter comprising scoria, a magnet and a heater and circulating the air that has passed through the filter using a hydroxyl group generated from a hydroxyl group generator. An air cleaner comprises: a body formed in a shape similar to that of a computer monitor and supported by a support such that one side of a lower part of the body is rotatably fitted into the support; air inlets formed in both side faces of the body; a filter(200) fitted into the air inlets; blowers installed in a central part within the body; an air outlet which is formed in a front face of the body, and has a safety mesh and a pin heater; and an operation part installed in a lower portion of an outer front face of the body, wherein the filter is formed in the form of a double mesh(9) and includes a hydroxyl group generator(6) installed on an inner front face of the air inlets, and a scoria powder(7) and a magnet powder(8) that are embedded on a rear face of the air inlets at a weight ratio of 20:1.
