<p>A display apparatus has a plurality of column-current generating circuits for supplying signal currents respectively to the corresponding columns of a plurality of EL devices that are arranged two-dimensionally. Each of the column-current generating circuits includes two or more transistor devices the gates, sources and drains of which are respectively connected in parallel so as to function as a single transistor. The transistor devices are arranged at a pitch equal to or n-times of the alignment period in the row direction of the EL devices and at a constant pitch equal to the alignment period in the column direction of the EL devices.</p>
