A video public phone terminal having a local advertising service function is provided to service store information, advertising information of each store, and event information together with an outline map, therefore local advertisements on various stores located in a certain area can be effectively offered. A memory(58) stores service mode selection routine information. A data packet processor(60) synthesizes version information of local advertising information and local outline map information designated through a function selection key(42) into a single packet. A network connector(56) performs switching to a data communication network for sending packet data and a PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) for a voice call. A controller(62) performs control for extracting the local outline map information, the local advertising information, and detailed store information to output the extracted information, and inputs a receiving number to process local information into data packets, and then conducts network switching to the data communication network to execute/control data transceiving to a remote local advertising service server. |
