Class 38(1) A wire 3 is connected to a printed circuit panel by inserting it into a sleeve 1 which is then crimped on to the wire and pushed through a hole in the panel until a tongue 4 projecting outwards from the sleeve engages behind the rear face of the panel, the sleeve then being dip soldered to the printed circuit. Several sleeves may be made in strip form and connected to their respective wires before being severed from the strip. |
