942,813. Unloading by tipping trolleys. E. SEIBT, and E. KAPP, [trading as SEIBT & KAPP MASCHINENFABRIK GUDRUNWAESCHEREIMASCHINEN.]. July 1, 1960 [July 18, 1959], No. 23053/60. Heading B8E. [Also in Division F4] A spin drier is loaded with laundry from a trolley e by means of a fork d operated by a pivotable spindle c mounted in a vertical housing b and driven by gearing from the spin drier drive, each leg of the fork having a transversely extending bar f adapted to engage under hooks g fitted on each side of the trolley. When the trolley has been lifted into the horizontal position abutment pieces h on each of the legs engage laterally extending edges e<SP>1</SP> of the trolley to provide additional support. The position of the trolley may be held at any point by an electric relay-actuated brake (not shown) connected to the gearing which drives the spindle c. The articles and water from the trolley fall into the spin drier via a guide plate i and the annular cover of the spin drier is concave. The drive for the spin drier and spindle may be mechanical, hydraulic pneumatic or electrical and the vertical housing b may be movable. |
