DRM INTEROPERABLE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING RIGHTS FOR IT

A DRM(Digital Rights Management) interoperability system and a rights managing method are provided to give rational rights to a device in a DRAM interoperability domain to prevent contents from being illegally used and improve security. A DRM interoperability system includes a device(120) registered with a DRM interoperability domain to request rights for specific contents to be provided thereto, a domain manager(140), and a rights manager(150). The domain manager manages the domain and the device registered with the domain. The rights manager confirms rights information given to a user and issues a rights token to which a limit factor stricter than a limit factor of the rights information is applied.
