A lamp assembly of a projection system and a method for adjusting a lamp position are provided to allow a worker to assemble a lamp with accuracy without an influence on components such as a lamp case constructing a lamp assembly and components associated with the lamp assembly. A lamp assembly includes a lamp(212), a lamp bracket(213) and a lamp case(211). The lamp bracket(213) is coupled to the front surface of the lamp(212). The lamp bracket(213) has at least one side surface from which a jig coupling end is extended. The lamp case(211) contains the lamp(212) therein and has a front surface sticking to the lamp bracket(213). The position of the lamp(212) is adjusted by a jig device in a state when the lamp bracket(213) is coupled to the lamp case(211) and the lamp case(211) sticks to a light tunnel housing. The position of the lamp(212) is adjusted in a state when the lamp case(211) is fixed to the light tunnel.
