METHOD FOR PRODUCING L-ARGININE USING CORYNEBACTERIUM GLUTAMICUM

A Corynebacterium glutamicum mutant strain is provided to increase the productivity of L-arginine and have the resistance against alpha-aminobutyric acid. A method for preparing the L-arginine using the same is provided to produce large amount of the L-arginine within the same period of time by shortening the fermentation time of arginine when L-tryptophane is added. A Corynebacterium glutamicum mutant strain which produces L-arginine and has the resistance against alpha-aminobutyric acid, canavanine, arginine, and arginine hydroxamate is deposited as a deposition no. KCCM-10741P. A method for producing the L-arginine comprises the steps of: (a) activating the Corynebacterium glutamicum mutant strain in a fermentation culture medium at a temperature of 30 deg.C for 16 hours; and (b) shake-culturing the culture material obtained from the step(a).
