TRAFFIC ANALYSIS SYSTEM OF THE IP NETWORK USING FLOW INFORMATION AND METHOD THEREOF

A traffic analysis device using a flow in an IP(Internet Protocol) network and a method therefor are provided to generate a flow by collecting packets from a physical line, and to generate statistical data by an analysis item by analyzing an application type of the flow, thereby offering detailed analysis on traffic for the IP network. A splitter connects a physical line between a switch(100) and an IP network(200). Traffic collectors(400) collect packets in real time by mirroring the physical line of the splitter, generate flows by analyzing traffic of the collected packets, and analyze applications of the flows to send the results to a traffic analyzer(500). The traffic analyzer(500) generates/stores statistical data by an analysis item for the analyzed results, and outputs the statistical data through a screen of a manager PC(Personal Computer)(600).
