<p>Provided is a dispersion compensator (10) for compensating a dispersion having occurred in a light pulse. The dispersion compensator (10) includes a spatial filter (100) for emitting, when a light having a high correlation to the light pulse to be dispersed and compensated comes in, a pulsating light having a single peak as a self-correlated light, and for emitting, when a light having a low correlation to the light pulse to be dispersed and compensated comes in, a diffused light as a mutually correlated light. The dispersion compensator (10) compensates, by deeming the self-correlated light as the light pulse dispersed and compensated, the dispersion having occurred in the light pulse having the high correlation to the light pulse to be dispersed and compensated.</p> |
