A method for forming a pattern and a method for manufacturing a color filter substrate using the same are provided to coat a liquid material on a substrate after performing a surface treatment on the substrate without a photolithographic process, thereby forming the pattern simply. A surface treatment film(270) is printed on a substrate(300) by using soft mold having the surface treatment film. A pattern solution is formed on the resultant substrate including the surface treatment film. The resultant substrate is heated to form patterns. The surface treatment film contains poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide-co-acrylic acid) or poly(N-isopropyl acrylamide)-based material. The pattern solution contains nano-wires.
