<p>A non-invasive continuous fluid level sensing system for a surgical operation and a method for the same are provided to allow advantages depending that a light source and a linear sensor array do not contact directly with a fluid for operation and to remove needs of a tag inside a chamber and colorization of the fluid. A non-invasive continuous fluid level sensing system for a surgical operation includes a cassette for operation including the first wall(216) and the second wall(218), which at least partially comprises materials of a cassette to form a chamber(181), and a console for operation, which includes: a cassette receiver to receive the above cassette for operation; vertically arrayed multiple light sources(200) to project lights to the first wall of the cassette for operation, each of which is located to project its corresponding light along with the corresponding light projection route with an incident angle against the surface of chamber so that the majority of corresponding lights are reflected in case that the interface of cassette material and the first fluid crosses with the above corresponding light projection route and the majority of corresponding lights are not reflected in case that the interface of cassette material and the second fluid crosses with the above corresponding light projection route; and a sensor array(206) having vertically arrayed multiple parts to receive light through the second wall of the above cassette for operation.</p> |
