A UV-absorbable textile product and a method for preparing the same are provided to impart an antibiotic effect, a deodorant effect, an antifungal effect, and an antifouling effect to the textile product, by coating the textile product with a water-soluble coating material containing titanium dioxide or titanium hydroxide. A textile fabric or a textile product formed of the textile fabric is processed by immersing the textile product consisting of a fiber yarn, a nonwoven fabric, or fiber cloth into an aqueous solution, where ultra-fine particle size of titanium dioxide or titanium hydroxide is dispersed, and dehydrating the immersed textile product, or spraying the aqueous solution onto the textile fabric and drying the textile fabric at a normal temperature or a temperature where the textile is not damaged.
