VOLTAGE CONVERTER AND DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING THE SAME

A voltage converter and a display device having the same are provided to maintain display quality irrespective of the variation of external conditions constant by outputting stable gamma voltages. A voltage converter includes a voltage source converter(410) and a gamma voltage generator(430). The voltage source converter generates analog voltage sources. The gamma voltage generator receives the analog voltage source and generates plural gamma reference voltages. The gamma voltage generator includes a voltage stabilization element, which outputs a stable gamma voltage irrespective of the variation of the analog voltage sources. The gamma voltage generator includes plural distribution resistors, which are series-connected between the analog voltage source and a ground voltage. The voltage stabilization element is connected between the ground voltage and the output stage of distribution resistors whose inputs are connected to the analog voltage sources.
