An automatic excretion cleaner is provided to be operated conveniently, to have a simple structure, to discharge excretions correctly, do washing action and to detect the sealing state of an excretion receiving tank. An automatic excretion cleaner includes a toilet casing, a washing unit, an excretion receiving portion, a connection member, a cover, a mounting portion and a detecting unit. The connection member guides the excretion discharged from the toilet casing to the excretion receiving portion. The mounting portion is mounted on the cover(304), is connected to the connection member and includes plural electrodes. The cover includes a fixing member that is fixed to the mounting portion to make plural electrodes conductive to each other in the state that the mounting portion is mounted in a predetermined shape. The detecting unit detects whether the mounting portion is mounted in a predetermined shape.
