A film insert resin molded article that realizes reducing of any damages on film at injection molding, smooth flowing of molten resin in a metal mold, reducing of sink after molding and easy removing of any bosses. There is provided film insert resin molded article (1) having film (4) for decoration, wherein on the reverse surface opposite to the surface of film (4) bonding side, after injection molding, there is disposed projection (10) remaining as a result of removal of boss generated at the time of feeding of molten resin, and wherein the projection (10) has a sectional area greater than that of the boss and has a bottom face of flat configuration extending in one direction or radial configuration extending in multiple directions.
