A method and an apparatus for scrolling plural items are provided to scroll only an item selected by a user when the contents of each of a plurality of items displayed on a display screen are longer than a display region to allow the user to confirm an undisplayed part of the contents of the selected item. A method for scrolling plural items includes a step of selecting one of a plurality of items displayed on a display screen(220), and a step of controlling the display screen to scroll only the selected item(230). When the contents of an item are longer than a display region of the item, only a part of the contents is displayed and a user is informed that only a part of the contents is displayed using a predetermined code(210). The display screen is a touch screen.
