METHOD FOR FABRICATING FLEXIBLE PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL

A method for manufacturing a flexible plasma display panel is provided to improve portability of the PDP(Plasma Display Panel) by decreasing a weight of the PDP using a flexible material. Plural grooves(201) with a predetermined depth are formed on a flexible plastic substrate(200) with a predetermined thickness by using a mechanical or chemical etching. Plural electrodes are formed across center portions of the grooves. A dielectric layer with a high reflective ratio and a fluorescent layer(204) are laminated on one of the substrates. The fluorescent layer emits one of red, green, and blue colors. The substrates are attached to each other, so that the grooves are crossed with respect to each other in vertical and horizontal directions. A UV(Ultra-Violet) hardening resin is used to attach the substrate to each other. A purity gas is ejected from a panel using a ventilating hole. A discharge gas is filled and enclosed in the panel.
