Fiber reinforced plastic and a method for producing the same are provided to increase bonding force between elements and make it easier to produce fiber reinforced plastic by bonding a fiber mat to fiber reinforced materials. Fiber reinforced plastic includes a plurality of fiber reinforced materials(10), fiber mats(20a,20b), and synthetic resin(40). The fiber reinforced materials are formed by twisting a pair of fiber wires which are arranged in the vicinity of one another. The fiber mats are arranged on at least one side of the fiber reinforced material unit and bonded to the fiber reinforced materials. Each fiber mat is formed into a sheet shape. The synthetic resin is bonded to the fiber reinforced materials bonded with the fiber mats, and solidified into a predetermined shape.
