An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) capable of preventing static electricity is provided to connect an upper case and a lower cover electrically as well as a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) array substrate by naturally bending an un-bonded part of a static electricity preventing member to a side of a main support by fastening the upper case after bonding the static electricity preventing member to an end of the TFT array substrate, thereby effectively grounding static electricity generated in an LC panel. In an LC(Liquid Crystal) panel(211), a color filter substrate(211a) and a TFT substrate(211b) are spaced from each other to face each other. Between the two substrates, an LC layer is filled. Upper and lower polarizer plates(212a,212b) are installed in upper and lower sides of the LC panel. A main support(213) supports a lower part of the LC panel. A lower cover(216) supports a lower part of the main support. An upper case(215) presses the whole upper side edge of the LC panel where the upper and lower polarizer panels are installed. Therefore, the LC panel is fixed to the main support. At least one static electricity preventing member(214) is bent to a support main side if the upper case is fastened after a part of the static electricity preventing member is bonded to an end of a TFT array substrate upside. |
