An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prolong a passivation film so as to cover a contact surface boundary between an LCD panel and a mold frame, and a contact surface boundary between the mold frame and a backlight unit, thereby blocking a path, through which impurities are applied into the LCD, without adding components. Within a mold frame(100), a receiving space(110) is formed. An LCD panel(200) is fixed to the receiving space of the mold frame and displays images. A driving IC(Integrated Circuit)(240) drives the LCD panel. A passivation film(300) surrounds the driving IC in order to protect the driving IC from external force. One end of the passivation film is prolonged so as to cover a contact surface boundary between the LCD panel and the mold frame. |
