A power steering pump system is provided to ensure endurance of internal components by preventing cavitation from being formed in an oil pump. A power steering pump system comprises a gear pump(100) and a bypass path(200). The gear pump is provided at an entrance of an oil pump(500) into which oil is introduced through an oil path(600). The bypass path is connected to the oil path such that the oil being introduced into the gear pump is bypassed through the bypass path. The moving route of oil is selectively changed according to viscosity of oil. An on/off switch(300) is installed at the entrance of the gear pump to selectively open/close the bypass path or the oil path.
