An apparatus for driving an LED(Light Emitting Diode) display panel is provided to prevent the deterioration of image quality due to the length difference of lines by compensating for the signal level of image information for driving an LED module. An apparatus for driving an LED(Light Emitting Diode) display panel, which includes an image controller(210) and a signal divider(230), displays images according to received image signal based on the operation of an LED module disposing plural LEDs. The image controller outputs column information based on the image signal. The signal divider receives the image signal and column information from the image controller, generates parallel image signals, extracts first division image information to be displayed in the LED module from the parallel image signals, and compensates for the signal level of the first division image information in proportion to the length of line of an LED module.
