Among other things, generating a dynamic digital data file for transferri ng to a mobile communication device includes receiving from a user a phone n umber associated with a mobile communication device. Also, a user selected d igital data file is received. Authorization to access the received digital d ata file is verified. When detected that the received digital data file is v erified as an authorized file, the user is able to edit the received digital data file to generate mobile content. A data connection with the mobile com munication device associated with the received phone number is also establis hed. Further, one or more operational parameters of the mobile communication device based on the established data connection are determined. The generat ed mobile content is transcoded into a format compatible to the determined o perational parameters, and the transcoded mobile content is delivered to the mobile communication device.
