Disclosed is a tooth enamel dissolution (decalcification) inhibitor which can inhibit the dissolution of an enamel in a tooth and keep the tooth healthy. The inhibitor comprises at least one member selected from the group consisting of guar gum, glucomannan, ß-cyclodextrin, tragacanth gum, carrageenan, locust bean gum, hyaluronic acid, pullulan, pectin and xanthan gum.
