A network quality management method in an MPLS(Multi Protocol Label Switching) communication network based on an ATM(Asynchronous Transfer Mode) is provided to manage network quality of an MPLS network based on an ATM by using three kinds of PINGs, thereby offering a stabler network service to a user. A group to which a section to be measured belongs is designated from a network quality management operator(S501). If an IP(Internet Protocol) of a receiving side and an IP address of a transmission side of the designated section are appointed(S502,S503), a network quality management device of a network quality manager decides whether inputted section information is valid, and if no abnormality occurs in a data structure of the section information, the section information is stored in a quality DB as being delivered to an adapter(S504). The adapter registers the section information in a PING scheduler, and periodically conducts PING tests in the corresponding section(S505,S506), and then delivers PING test results to the network quality management device(S507).
