An operation apparatus for a mobile terminal is provided to offer a firmed coupling state by combining a rotary operation part and a rotary plate with a guide member and joining the guide member with a rotary support plate through a coupling unit. An operation apparatus(100) for a mobile terminal comprises a rotary operation part(110), a guide member(120), a rotary plate, a rotary support part, and a PCB(150). The guide member(120), having the rotary operation part(110) settled, guides the rotary operation part(110) for its rotation. The rotary plate, fixed to the rotary operation part(110) with the guide member(120) in between, prevents the separation of the rotary operation part(110). The rotary support part, coupled with the guide member(120) by a coupling unit with the rotary plate in between, settles the rotary plate and guides the rotary plate for its rotation. At the PCB(150), the rotary support part and a rotation sensor(151), which detects the rotation angle of the rotary operation part(110), are mounted.
