Disclosed is a wound dressing comprising an absorber layer made of a func tional fleece that encompasses at least first and second filaments. The firs t filaments contain a polyethylene terephthalate core and a shell which is m ade of polyolefins and into which a silver source is integrated. The second filaments contain a polyacrylnitrile core and a polyacryl shell. The absorbe r layer can absorb 0.15 to 1.20 ml/cm2 of water.
