A system and a method for optimizing resources in a supply chain and on a production line using RFID and Artificial Intelligence, which may be adapte d to any type of supply chain or production line, including warehousing, and which is capable of optimizing a plurality of tools/machinery or processing stations, a plurality of products and even personnel in real time by means of real-time analysis of information relating to said entities and historica l information stored in databases about optimum decisions taken by the syste m in the past.
