The main handle (6) has a handle (8) for an engine switch (10) and an actuating unit that releases a safety locking unit (16). The actuating unit has an actuating section (24), which is accessible from outside of a housing (4). The locking unit is in a normal position over a blocking area (34), and is pivotable in a moving path of the handle (8). An actuation of the switch is blocked and passed to a release position by actuating the actuating unit. The actuating unit is formed by a rotatably supported rotary unit (18), at which the blocking area is formed.
