SCHEDULING OF TERMINALS FOR SENDING DATA TO A TERMINAL ON AN HSDPA CHANNEL VIA SEVERAL BASE STATIONS

Method of scheduling for a given send time interval, the time being divided into time intervals for a time division multiplexing of the transmissions to a plurality of terminals, said method comprising: a. a step of establishing a first list of so-called active terminals, having at least one data packet standing by waiting to be sent, the terminals being attached to at least one of the send stations of a group of send stations; b. a test step consisting in verifying whether the first list contains at least one terminal; c. if the test is positive, a step of selecting a terminal from the first list; d. a step of adding the selected terminal to a second list; i. a step of determining the send station or stations to which the selected terminal is attached; j. in the case where the first list contains at least one other terminal also attached to the or to at least one of the send stations determined in step e, a step of deleting this other terminal from the first list, steps b to f being repeated until the first list is empty, and, when the first list is empty, there is provided a step of controlling the sending during the given time interval, to the terminal or terminals of the second list, of the respective data packet or packets standing by waiting to be sent, the sending control step consisting, in the case where a terminal of the second list is attached to at least two send stations, in controlling the sending of the data packet on standby waiting to be sent for this terminal from the two send stations.
