A pesticidal composition comprising at least an ester compound represented by the formula (1): wherein R¹ represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R² represents a methyl group or a group represented by the formula -CH=CR²¹R²² (wherein R²¹ and R²² independently represent a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a chlorine atom), and R³ represents a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a methoxymethyl group, supported on a carrier having an oil absorbency of not more than 10 ml/100 g is useful for controlling various pests.
