The apparatus has a cooking chamber (1), and a coaxial or flat transmission line connected directly or indirectly with a microwave generation unit e.g. Magnetron, via a contact/coupling unit in a chamber wall region. The line transmits the generated microwave beams into the chamber. The transmission line is integrated in the form of a support or fixed carrier within the chamber. The carrier holds the food container, plates or bowls. |
