<p>A method and system for deciding the subscriber location information of multicast service are provided. The said method includes: In order to record the network location distribution for subscribers of multicast service, the subscriber location information is established in the network side; the multicast service is sent based on the subscriber location information; the network side receives the location update notification; the said location update notification includes the multicast service identity of the subscriber and the location identity before and after location update; on the basis of the location update notification, the network side modifies the subscriber location information of the said multicast service. The said method and system can make the network side to obtain exactly the subscriber location information related to multicast service. Therefore, the network side can aim at the subscriber location area to trigger the multicast service.</p> |
