An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device having improved viewing angle characteristics is provided to make transmission rates of light incident in all directions same by changing a path of light incident in different viewing angle directions, thereby improving viewing angle characteristics. An LCD device is composed of an LCD panel, where an image is realized, and a light control film(160) which is installed in the outside of the LCD panel, and makes a transmission rate in all viewing angle directions same by changing a path of transmitted light. The LCD panel comprises first and second substrates(103,105), a liquid crystal layer(107), a pixel electrode, a common electrode, and first and second alignment layers. The liquid crystal layer is formed between the first and second substrates. The pixel electrode and the common electrode are separately formed in the first and second substrates to form an electric field in the liquid crystal layer. The first and second alignment layers are formed on the first and second substrates to align liquid crystal molecules(109a,109b). |
