<p>A hand dryer (100) has a hand insertion section (2) that has an opening opened at the front face and side faces of a box body (1) and is formed in a size capable of receiving a hand. A high-pressure airflow generation device (3) that has nozzles (4a, 4b) is provided at the box body (1). The high-pressure airflow generation device (3) generates a high-speed airflow. The nozzles (4a, 4b) are individually arranged at opposite faces of the hand insertion section (2) and eject high-speed airflow into the hand insertion section (2). The nozzles (4a, 4b) are composed of hole rows where nozzle holes are arranged in rows in the left-right direction of the hand insertion section, and the volume of high-speed airflow ejected from the central portion of the hole rows is greater than the volume of that ejected from other portions of the hole rows.</p> |
