<p>A metal pallet is disclosed. In an embodiment thereof, the metal pallet includes an upper plate having longitudinal depressions and prominences formed through bending, and a leg/ support unit locked to the lower surface of the upper plate using a locking unit. In another embodiment, the metal pallet includes upper and lower plates, each having longitudinal depressions and prominences formed through bending, and a leg/support unit locked to the upper and lower plates using a locking unit at a location between the plates. Thus, the metal pallet, having reduced weight, can be easily and quickly produced through an automated process. Further, the metal pallet has a bent reinforced part, caps and reinforcing units, thus having increased strength. A safety means may be formed on the sharp ends of the upper and lower plates through coating, or may be formed on the leg/support units through bending, thus covering the sharp ends of the upper and lower plates and protecting workers from the sharp ends. Further, prong holes are formed in the leg/support units so that the prongs of a forklift truck can be inserted into the prong holes.</p> |
