An RBT(Ring Back Tone) service system having a mass sound source storage unit, a method for storing contents therein, and a call processing method thereof are provided to improve the utilization of the internal storage space of a sound source providing unit by storing all sound sources only in the disk of the sound source providing unit and to reduce the failure rate of sound source transmission from a CP(Contents Provider). An RBT service system comprises at least one sound source providing unit, at least one RBT service control unit(22), and a mass sound source storage unit(23). The sound source providing unit transmits RBT sound sources to an MSC(Mobile Switching Center)(230). The RBT service control unit(22) specifies an RBT sound source and executes a control operation so that it is able to be regenerated and transmitted to the MSC(230). The mass sound source storage unit(23) stores the specified RBT sound source, and provides RBT sound sources to the sound source providing unit. The sound source providing unit, the RBT service control unit(22), and the mass sound source storage unit(23) are mutually connected through a TCP/IP communication network.
