The present invention provides gum base compositions and chewing gum comp ositions having non stick or reduced-stick properties and/or increased degra dability. Methods of preparing the gum base and chewing gum compositions, as well as methods of use, are provided. The figure illustrates a carbonate-ba sed chewing gum base containing a GANTREZ ® copolymer after exposure to envi ronmental factors (i.e. weather condition).
