A data driver and a light emitting display device having the same are provided to reduce the electrical stress of driving transistors by supplying compensation signals to driving transistors of pixel circuits. A data driver includes a data signal inputting unit(400), a compensation signal inputting unit(410), and a signal selecting unit(425). The data signal inputting unit inputs data signals. The compensation signal inputting unit inputs at least two or more compensation signals having different sizes from one another. The signal selecting unit selects one of the inputted data signal or compensation signal and outputs the selected signal to data lines. The compensation signals have opposite polarity to the data signals inputted from the data signal inputting unit.
