A circuit for generating gate pulse modulation signals is provided to generate gate modulation signals in an overlapping operation by applying modulated gate-on voltage modulation signals to even and odd lines. A circuit for generating gate pulse modulation signals includes gate pulse modulation units(41A,41B), level shift units(42A,42B), and a GIP(Gate In Panel)(43). The gate pulse modulation units generate two gate-on voltage modulation signals using two clock signals having different phases from each other. The level shift units shift the level of signals using the gate-on voltage modulation signals and generate modulated clock signals for odd and even lines. The GIP receives the modulated clock signals for odd and even lines, and outputs the received modulated clock signals to corresponding gate lines.
