摘要 A method for controlling the amount of liquid crystal within an LCD is provided to remove excessively injected liquid crystal easily from an LCD panel by precisely patterning a sealing member by emitting a laser beam to a sealing member, preventing shaking of the laser beam. Liquid crystal is received in a receiving space formed by a first substrate(20), a second substrate(30) facing the first substrate and a sealing member(40) interposed between the first and second substrates. Light is emitted along a metal pattern(50) partially overlapping the sealing member while a light reflection angle of a first reflection mirror reflecting light, and a light reflection angle of a second reflection mirror disposed adjacent to the first reflection mirror and reflecting light are controlled, so that a width of a portion of the sealing member is reduced to form a residual sealing portion. The residual sealing portion is broken by applying pressure to the liquid crystal to discharge a portion of the liquid crystal received in the receiving space to the outside of the sealing member. The opened residual sealing portion is sealed again.
