An authentication system using a mobile communication terminal and a TV is provided to allow a user to store a certificate in the mobile terminal and view a pay broadcast through additional user authentication based on a voice in connection between the mobile terminal and the TV. An authentication system includes a mobile communication terminal and a television. The mobile communication terminal stores certificate data required for the settlement for a pay broadcast, bank settlement, or card settlement. The television is connected to the mobile communication terminal to perform the settlement for a pay broadcast, bank settlement, or card settlement by using the certificate data. The mobile communication terminal includes a data communication processing part(101), which is able to download the certificate data through a predetermined communication network, a user authentication processing part, which determines a right user of the certificate data, and a communication interface part(108), which allows a user to the certificate data on the television if the user is the authenticated user.
